Bert was much loved by everyone who knew him & he delighted in regaling family, friends and strangers alike with his unlimited selection of songs, jokes and anecdotes. All who met him had their lives greatly enhanced by the experience and his death will leave a void that no-one could ever fill. The world would be a better place if there were more in his likeness and is a hugely sadder place now that he is gone.
