Arthur (Andy) Anderson
Arthur (Andy as friends knew him), packed a lot into his 94 years. He served and was shot down in Bomber Command and led a full social life.
Arthur was proud of his war record and loved going on holiday, ball room dancing and water skiing.
Arthur was a kind uncle and great uncle and had many loyal friends.
My uncle John met Andy in Bomber Command. He was taken as a prisoner of war in 1943 when my uncle died. Andy was a treasured family friend.
Mr Graham Boyd
Andy was a great character and friend of my Dad until he passed in 2008. Having grown up with WW2 RAF stories, this is the end of an era.
