The Frederick Wright My Remembrance Day Fund

Fred was called up for active service on 17th December 1942.
He served as a Private with 205 - 53 Royal Artillery Anti Tank Regiment, and also as a Bombardier.
Fred fought through France to Hamburg, and in the infamous D-Day landings on June 6th 1944.
He married Joan on 5th July 1947, and was demobbed in December 1947.
